Tóta tánon Ohkwári Books
The Skawenniio Tsi Iewennahnotahkhwa Kahnawake Library will be featured on Tóta tánon Ohkwári. The episode titled, They Both Write Stories will air Tuesday, April 27, 2010 on Channel 3. The episode will feature a Library introduction by Melanie Phillips Kirby and Tyler Phillips voices the talking book.
The Kahnawake Library will be housing two books from the episode. The book titles are On:wa Wa'keweientehta'ne Taktsi'nehtara:ronTsitha Akoka:ra and Wa'katenro'seron:ni Ohkwa:ri Raoka:ra. These books include colorful illustrations by Konwennenhon Delaronde, Konwatsi'tsa:wi Phillips and Kahero:ton Walter Scott.
These books are also for sale at the Library. The cost is $10.00 each.
